About Smak
Taste, together.
Smak is a place to share home-cooked meals with a purpose. Anyone can host a table — breakfast, lunch, or dinner — built around a topic worth talking about, and anyone can request a seat. The point isn't just the food. It's the people you meet across it.
We started Smak because the best conversations tend to happen around a table, yet it keeps getting harder to make new ones as an adult. Restaurants are loud and transactional; big events are anonymous. A home-cooked meal with a handful of people and a shared theme is something else entirely — smaller, warmer, and real.
Two things make Smak different from other social-dining apps. Tables are built around a topic or intention, not just a cuisine — so you know what you're walking into. And both sides are accountable: after every meal, hosts and guests rate each other, and the reviews reveal together. Hosts approve their own guests, and exact addresses are shared only after you're accepted.
Smak is currently in private beta. If you'd like an invite, join the waitlist from the home page — we're opening up city by city.
